Clown Playing the Saxophone

Both hands are on the saxophone, the mouthpiece at his lips and the body tilted slightly back. His right foot rests on a yellow ball painted with a green star, and the whole pose balances on that point. The white shirt is scattered with blue spots, the deep red braced trousers carry two pale patches, and a checked scarf is knotted at the collar. The make-up follows the tradition: white face, red nose, dark flared brows.
