This series rests on names known long before the porcelain: Don Quixote, the musketeers, Napoleon, Columbus, Carmen, the Mona Lisa. The sculptor went after the moment rather than the portrait — the knight drinks from a gourd flask beside his drooping horse, an old man with a book holds his grandchildren still, a rider on a rearing mount points the way ahead.

The Napoleonic line is the tightest of them. Six equestrian figurines form a single row, all on white horses, told apart only by uniform: cuirass, hussar dolman with sabretache and fur colback, bicorne, shako with plume. The porcelain base repeats the «N» monogram and the eagle.

The four musketeers wear the same dress: cloak with heraldic mantle, gilt cross, rapier, plumed hat. What separates them is the pose and the name incised on the base.

A second motif runs through the whole series — reading. Pinocchio with an open primer, a boy under a tree back to back with his friend, a girl with a book at her grandfather's feet, a woman in a bonnet above her sleeping daughter.
