Sandokan

The encounter is held in a single movement: the white horse rears while the rider, in a checked turban and pale shirt, opens his arms across bow and arrow. A tiger comes up at the horse from below, one forepaw raised and the jaws wide, its stripes carried the length of the body. Grey trousers, a leather belt and the quiver at his back draw the dark tones into the centre. The base is modelled with stones and small flowers over an oval wooden stand.
