She rides sidesaddle, both hands on the rein, the body turned slightly forward with the movement. A wide pink gown falls in folds across the croup, a green cloak slips from the shoulder and trails behind, and a pink ribbon is worked into the dressed hair. The white horse extends a foreleg and drops its head, harness brown with gilt fittings. At the hooves a leafy trunk rises from ground scattered with small modelled flowers.
