The Grande Armée (Napoleonic Soldiers)

Six soldiers of the Grande Armée are ranged across a tiered wooden stand. Each stands on a white plinth with a gilt eagle and a painted label naming his corps: voltigeur, grenadier, cavalry captain, corporal, Croat regiment, sapper. The uniforms carry the colour of the set — blue and white, hussar yellow, dark olive — and are told apart by shako, bearskin and epaulette. An armorial cartouche sits at the centre of the stand.
