Don Quixote

Don Quixote sits upright in the saddle, his bearded face lifted. A long lance runs through his right hand while the left draws in the rein, and an engraved round shield hangs at his thigh. The cuirass and shoulder plates are painted a steel grey, the broad hat pushed back off the brow. His chestnut horse crosses stony ground, one foreleg raised over a gnarled root with leaves growing through it, mane and tail carried in a single wave.
