Pulcinella

Everything is held in one tone — pointed cap, loose blouse closed by two bow ties, wide trousers, each edge drawn in gold. A dark half-mask covers the upper face and curls escape below the cap. The right hand comes up to the chin while a short wooden stick is tucked under the left arm. With colour kept back, the figure works through folds and the modelled bows across the chest.
