The Bachelors

The scene splits between the pair. On the left a man in a felt hat and red plaid shirt leans down to hold a pan with two eggs over a fire built of bricks and kindling. His bearded companion sits back in a blue jacket, knife in hand, a newspaper opened across his lap with bread and sausage on it. A rail fence runs behind them, birds perched along it and a folded umbrella hooked at one end. Twigs, mushrooms and scattered kit cover the rough base.
