Angels in Baroque Style

The heads almost touch: the copper-haired angel looks down, the darker one rests against his shoulder with lowered lids. Four wings spread outward on either side of the bowl. Gold scrollwork covers the baroque body below, gathered around a central cartouche, with pink roses and green leaves applied along the rim. Read as a pair, the two faces divide the piece — one gaze down, one turned away.
