Chestnut Seller

A fringed red shawl is thrown over her pale dress, a blue hat with a flower sits on her grey hair and a checked scarf is knotted at her throat. To the right a girl in a red coat and blue pom-pom cap stretches towards the counter. Sacks of chestnuts, cut firewood and a second small fire are set out on the cobbles.
