Doctor (Deep in Thought)

The doctor has stopped beside his instrument cabinet, index finger raised to his chin and his gaze fixed past the viewer. A dark folder is clamped under his left arm, a sheet lettered Cartella clinica — diagnosi projecting from it. The white coat hangs open over a brown three-piece suit and striped tie. Glasses, a syringe and small instruments are laid across the cabinet top beside him, but the whole figure turns on that single hand.
