Lady Lawyer

She stands at the lectern with her right arm lifted and the index finger straight up, caught in the middle of an argument. A blue gown falls over a matching suit, with a white jabot at the throat, gold cords at the shoulders and a tasselled mortarboard. Her left hand rests flat on an open book while the scales of justice are modelled into the side panel of the lectern. The base is a plain sweep finished with a gilt line.
