The advocate turns on his heel and stretches out an arm, forefinger extended towards someone off the base. A sheaf of written papers is clamped under his left arm and a black tasselled biretta sits on his head. The crimson robe carries gold frogging at the shoulders; beneath it are a pink waistcoat with a fine floral pattern, a white cravat and grey trousers. The white base finishes in a gilt rocaille scroll.
