18th-Century Carriage

Two white horses in gilt-trimmed harness draw an open carriage, the reins running taut to the gentleman's hands. Inside sits a lady in a flounced pink gown with her fan spread, a gentleman in a blue coat and tricorne beside her. The body is white with gilt scrollwork along the panels and openwork spoked wheels below. The oval base carries a wave frieze above its wooden stand.
