Lancer on Horseback

The horse rears with its dark mane flying and the reins drawn tight in both of the rider's hands. The lancer wears a white coat with a blue lapel and gold epaulettes under a gilt helmet crowned by a blue plume, and a red cloak opens behind his shoulder. The saddlecloth is painted pale blue with a gold border, and a spurred boot presses into the stirrup. A cannon with its shot and wheel lies on the white base.
