Horse-Drawn Carriage

The driver, in a red cap and green jacket, sits on the box with his long whip lifted; the reins run out to two white horses in tan harness, the leading one with a foreleg already raised. Behind him two passengers share the seat — a woman in a yellow hat and her companion in a checked waistcoat. The dark green body carries gilt scrolls above large spoked wheels, and a wave frieze rings the oval base.
