Angel in Baroque Style

Head and shoulders lift clear of the bowl, the wings opened wide and worked feather by feather. Copper curls frame a face turned straight to the viewer. Below, the bowl follows a baroque line: gold scrolls, a central cartouche, and applied roses with green leaves along the upper rim. In this wall composition the warm red hair stays the only strong colour on an otherwise white and gold body.
