Angel in Baroque Style

The wings open wide and dip towards the rim, each row of feathers modelled separately. The head tilts to one shoulder and the gaze goes off to the side beneath a close cap of chestnut curls. Gold ornament covers the bowl below, built around a cartouche and raised scrolls, with pale roses and gilded leaves applied along the top edge. No second colour interrupts the ivory and gold of this wall composition.
