Card Players II

The hand is played on a board set over a tree stump: at the left a boy in a yellow-striped jersey leans his elbow on the table, at the right another tips back on his stool and holds a card by his cheek. Between them stands a youth in a blue beret and green waistcoat, while a fair-haired player rests his chin on his fist. Cards are spread across the boards and one lies on the ground beside a book and a stack of copybooks.
