Hunting Dog

The dog has frozen on point, drawn into one straight line from nose to tail tip with the left foreleg lifted and folded back. White coat, liver patches, a buckled brown collar at the throat. At the far end of the base sits a small brown bird, and the distance between the two is what holds the piece together. Fallen leaves and dry grass are modelled across the ground, keeping the figure low and long.
