Both hands open the hem to the sides, the body bends slightly and the head lifts over the shoulder. Scattered roses and forget-me-nots cover the pale blue gown, an applied rose garland runs along the hem, and a burgundy bodice draws in the waist over a ruffled white chemise. Loose auburn hair carries back in one long wave, balancing the lean of the pose. Flowering ground closes the base.
