The Low Wall

Both hands go behind the head, elbows wide, the body tipped back a little — a stance that opens the whole line from shoulder to ankle. The white blouse is painted with small blue, yellow and red flowers, and the pink capris finish in a cuff below the knee. Behind her rises a grey stone wall closed by two heavy scrolls, taking the weight of her shoulders. Fair hair is waved; the heeled shoes pick up the pink of the trousers.
