Ballerinas, Set A-E (Two-Tier Skirt)

Five dancers, each held in a different position: an arabesque with the leg swept back, two figures with the arms lifted overhead, a turn with the foot extended to the side, and a seated dancer in a full split. The costume is shared — a blue bodice edged in gold above a white two-tier tutu with pleated frills. Pointe shoes are blue, the ribbons left off. Each figure grows from a drawn-out white wave finished with a gilt scroll.
