Ballerina (Relevé Pose)

The dancer has risen onto her points, feet drawn together, both arms opened above the shoulders. A blue bodice with a gilt panel narrows to a point at the waist, and from it a tutu of porcelain lace spreads out under a waved gold edge. Her hair is gathered in a low bun and the face turns towards the right shoulder. Gilt scrolls run around the rim of the round white base.
