The Garter

Her right foot rests on a low blue stool, the body bent forward, one hand raising the hem of a coral dress to settle a white lace garter above the knee. The dress drops from one shoulder and trails behind in a long wave that nearly reaches the base. Black hair falls straight along the cheek. Red heeled shoes give the composition its one sharp accent; everything else works through shifts of coral and white.
