The boy has risen off the rock to pull a pale bunch from the vine, a darker one already gathered in his left hand. A third cluster with its leaf is tucked into his hair, and a woven basket of amber and purple berries stands at his feet. The jacket is a deep green, the breeches carry a small flower repeat, the boots are brown. A gilt meander runs around the base of the figure.
