Holy Mary, Mother of the Lord

Mary stands frontally, her right arm swept out with the palm open, the Child seated on her left in a long white gown and a small crown. Both heads carry gilt crowns, hers surmounted by a cross. The cream robe is strewn with sparse gold fleurs, while the green mantle falls behind and is edged with a gilt band. The skirt spreads in a wide bell over an oval porcelain base cut with pierced ornament.
