The Last Supper (Large)

Christ sits at the centre in a blue mantle over a red tunic, both hands open above the cloth. The apostles break into threes along the table — one throws his palms up, another leans back, a third turns to whisper. Pewter cups, shallow dishes and small round loaves are set across the white cloth, which is bordered in a red key pattern. The whole group rests on a carved gilt plinth lettered with the twelve names.
