The Four Seasons - Cupids (Set of 4)

The cupid sits on a shaped plinth worked with gilt scrolls, one leg tucked up and the other reaching the edge. Both hands cradle a bunch of yellow tulips with green leaves, raised toward the face. The body keeps the pale tone of the porcelain, the curls are washed in grey-brown, and gold touches the outer edge of each wing. The piece belongs to a group of four putti, each carrying its own attribute on a turned wooden base.
