Putto (Cherub)

The putto sits cross-legged, a small bunch of blue and yellow flowers in the left hand while the right lifts one stem clear. A matching bloom is tucked into the curls above the temple. A blue drape covers the hips and the body is left in pale porcelain, unpainted. Below, a round base carries green grass and modelled blossoms over a white plinth lined in gold. Capodimonte porcelain models each petal separately, down to the yellow centre.
