Little Rascal (Handstand)

The figure balances on the crown of the head and one open palm, both legs lifted vertically and parted, the body drawn out into a straight line. The inverted face looks straight at the viewer, red curls spilling across the wooden base. The body is left white apart from small gilt scrolls set on the hip and ankles. An oval wooden base with a brass plate steadies the whole vertical.
