Madonna of the Daisies

The relief is set within an arch carried on two columns wound with roses and white jasmine. In a green mantle and white veil, the Madonna inclines her head towards the Child standing on her lap; he holds a pink rose in one hand and touches her chin with the other. Three winged cherub heads emerge from the clouds above the halos, which are laid in heavy gold. A scrolled cornice with moulded roses closes the foot.
