The Last Supper (Bas-Relief)

The scene runs the length of a table dressed in a white cloth with a gold border, bread, cups and dishes set along it. Christ holds the centre while the apostles fall into groups of three, turned towards each other in conversation. Behind them a room is built up with a beamed ceiling, wall panels and openings onto a landscape. A broad gilt frame with carved shells at the corners encloses the relief.
