Clock with a Cherub

One figure crowns this case: a cherub in gold drapery perched on a scroll, an open book with blue edges resting across his lap and one leg hanging by the dial. A spray of blue and white leaves rises on the left with small buds along the stem. The white dial shows Roman numerals inside a broad cobalt ring with a gilt beaded rim. Applied pink roses run along the lower edge, and the plinth carries cobalt panels around a flower-painted medallion.
